Jermelle JeJuan Fountain Sr's Obituary
Jermelle JeJuan Fountain Sr. was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on July 31st, 1975 to John Henry Fountain Jr. and Aronna Fuller.
Jermelle graced this world for 49 years leaving an indelible mark on everyone he encountered. As we mourn his passing on March 27th, 2025, we also cherish the memories created and the legacy he leaves behind.
Jermelle moved to Tacoma, Washington in 1981 and attended Tacoma Public Schools. Jermelle was a man of many talents and achievements. He pursued his passion with dedication and zeal, attending Bates Technical College where he completed the Barbering Program and began his barbering career at many local barbershops, such as Sam & Terry’s, Kinlow’s, Goodfellas, and Shorty’s to name a few. His hands were skilled not only in crafting haircuts but also in the art of healing, as he later graduated from Clover Park Technical College in Massage Therapy. Jermelle’s thirst for knowledge and new experiences led him to also complete a Bartending Academy. Each of these achievements speaks to his diverse talents and willingness to explore new avenues.
Beyond his professional achievements, Jermelle’s true success lay in the love and dedication he had for his family. He was a loving husband to Travion Fountain with his heart truly shone in his role as a loving and devoted father to his children. Jermelle spent some of his best times at bowling alleys and skating rinks, where he enjoyed the company of his friends while making memories.
His memory will always be held close to our hearts as we will remember his infectious smile, contagious laugh, funny sense of humor, warm hugs and long talks.
Jermelle is welcomed home by his daughter Abriana Fountain, father John Henry Fountain Jr., brother Andrae Fountain, sister Shanette Paige and other dear family members and friends that he loved.
Jermelle leaves his children to cherish his memory; ChelaJuan, Andraell, Eric, TreJohnte, Akira, Jermelle Jr., Jermyllion, Javion, JeJuandrae and Andrae Fountain. His sisters; Shanelle Fountain, Ebony Jennings, Nina Jones, Tesha Schauls, and LaMonica McKissic. His brothers; Abdul, John III, Jermaine Fountain, Tyrone Woods, Kevin Jr., Darrell, and Isaiah Clardy. He is also cherished by his beautiful grandchildren; Aubriella, Carma, Lamarkel, Chance and Leilani and a host of aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
