After suffering long, painful complications from an automobile accident, Jennifer Lea Haskins died at home on January 4, 2011. Jennifer, the only child of Lee and Margaret Haskins,was born on August 30, 1973 in Tacoma, WA. She graduated from Stadium High School and earned an Early Childhood Degree from Bates Technical College. Jennifer operated an in-home daycare for 8 years as well as teaching preschool. She was Past Worthy Advisor in Warren Assembly, Order of Rainbow and president of Preceptor Alpha Upsilon, Beta Sigma Phi. Jennifer loved her Lord and Savior, children, teaching, music, dancing, animals, and surfing the web.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her father Lee, and is greatly missed by her cherished son Brenden, and her mother Margaret. She also leaves behind an aunt, uncle, cousins, many family friends, and sorority sisters.
A celebration of Jennifer's life will be held on January 15, 2011 at 2:00pm at Grace Place Church on the corner of S. 38th and South Tacoma Way in Tacoma, WA. Donations are accepted in Jennifer's name to the LIFE Program of Life Christian Academy, 1717 S. Union, Tacoma WA, 98405, where Brenden attends and Margaret teaches.
