Jeffrey Ray Eidson's Obituary
Jeff was born in Toledo City, Cebu Island, Philippines, October 5, 1989, died in Tacoma, WA on Monday, March 28, 2005 of pneumonia. He was a freshman at Stadium High School. He was adopted by Stephanie and Rodney Eidson (deceased) in July 1993 and joined them in the state of Washington. Jeff had many physical challenges but came through each surgery determined to get better and didn't complain about the pain he had to live with all his life. A big highlight ws that he had been accepted to attend the School of the Arts in the fall where he hoped to further his talent of glass blowing design and cartoon drawing. He will be forever missed by his loving Mother, Stephanie Brown Howe, stepfather Bob Howe, step-brothers Alex and Kyle Howe, step-sister Ryann Howe. He also leaves his grandmothers, Sharon Lee Brown of Tacoma and Ruth Eidson of Dallas, NC; step grandparents, Bob and June Howe of Spanaway; loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and special "moms" Anessa, Debbie and Tamey. He was preceded in death by his father, Rodney Ray Eidson in 1996; and his "papa", T. Warren Brown in 2004. We know they are holding our little Jeff in their arms and welcoming him Home. The family would like to thank the tireless efforts put forth by the loving and caring staff of the Mary Bridge PICU. Thank you, Jeri, for being there the whole time.Memorial services will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, April 1, 2005 at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 901 North J, Tacoma, followed by a reception at 3004 No. Puget Sound.Donations may be made to T. Warren Brown Endowment Fund at the School of Arts, P.O. Box 65255, Tacoma, WA 98464-1255 or Children's Shelter of Cebu, P.O. Box 247, Cambridge, MN 55008.
