Jeffrey M. Pennington's Obituary
Jeffrey Michael Pennington, age 49, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 1, 2016 at home in Tacoma, Washington. Born October 27, 1966 in San Francisco, California, to parents Carey and Linda Pennington, he was the 1st of 3 children.
He attended school at American Lake South from September 1984 to June 1988. He traveled the world being a part of a military family. He lived in California, Texas, Massachusetts, Germany, North Carolina and Tacoma, WA. Jeffrey will be remembered as happy, loving, special child, son, brother, uncle and friend to many. He truly enjoyed being with his family, attending school, playing in the school bell choir and his adult day health program that he attended from 1997 up until his passing. While at home, Jeffrey’s favorite television programs were Home Improvement, Golden Girls, King of Queens and Andy Griffith. Jeffrey also enjoyed his time at the family cabin in Fernwood, Idaho.
He is survived by his loving family; parents Linda and Carey; Sister Renee (Ben) Barnes; Brother Lance Pennington; Nephews Nicholas and Hayden; his Uncle Mike and Aunt Deb Young of Dewey, OK; and Aunt Vicki and Uncle Jack O’Malley of Sunnyvale, CA.
Special people in his life are the staff and friends at MultiCare Adult Day Health and the Locomotion bus drivers.
Jeffrey will be deeply missed by those whom surrounded him with their love.
A Visitation will be held 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2016. A Funeral Service with interment to follow will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2016 in the Garden Chapel and Mountain View Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
