Jeffrey Donald Fewins' Obituary
Jeff was born to Patricia and Kenneth Fewins in Puyallup, WA. He attended Puyallup High School where he graduated in 1979 as senior class president. He was an active participant in debate and football. He enjoyed spending his summers at Clear Lake with his best friend, Joe Bohlae. After high school, he went to the University of Washington and was a proud Husky fan, where he graduated with a degree in political science.
Jeff went on to make a career as an electrician at the Puyallup Fair, where he enjoyed working with his friends and spending time with them at the Eagles after work.
Jeff's daughter Meghan was born in 1992. They lived in Sumner, then Enumclaw where Meghan’s interest in horses and rodeo started. They moved to Ellensburg, where Jeff enjoyed living on a farm and was very involved in Meghan’s rodeos and basketball games. He loved doing crossword and Sudoku puzzles, hunting, and spending time outdoors. Jeff also had a special place in his heart for animals, especially his late dogs Bingo, Zorro, and Skippy.
Jeff is survived by his daughter Meghan Fewins; brother Greg (Cheryl) Fewins; nephew Matt (Dylan) Fewins; nieces Alisha (Nick) Finke and Caitlin (Matthew) Walker; grandnephews Hunter and Gavin Finke and Peter Walker; grandnieces Chloe Finke and Felicity Walker; several cousins and other relatives.
A celebration of life will be held in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View Cemetery on Sunday, July 18th, at 2pm.
