Jearl Dean Kie's Obituary
Jearl Dean Kie was born on July 18, 1960 to Huey P. Kie Sr and Chasey Anner Heckard Kie in Stuttgart, Germany. She was raised and lived in Pierce County, WA. Jearl departed this life on Saturday August 23, 2024. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her beloved sister Maria Lynette Kie, brothers Juan and Huey Kie Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory: her son Alan C. Kie; three daughters Demetria Lark, Darlene Lark and Tesha Sanders; her grandchildren Joshua Walker Jr.; Dayanna Lark, Devontrei Lark-Collins; Demetria Lark, Tesha Lark and Malani Kie; five sisters, multiple nieces, nephews, cousins, and everyone one she was a second Mom to.
She was the embodiment of resilience and grace, the last name Kie encapsulating all that was and could be. To me, she was more than just a family member-she was a cornerstone, a guiding light, and an indomitable spirit. Whether as grandma, momma, auntie, cousin, or friend, she occupied a unique place in everyone's heart, always managing to be exactly what was needed in the moment. Her strength was both awe-inspiring and intimidating, a perfect blend of love and discipline.
My Grandma Kie could hustle like no other, effortlessly winning over a bus full of people and then some. Her beauty radiated from her inner strength and unyielding spirit. She was a woman of many facets, ready for love and prepared for war, always leaving a lasting impact on those she encountered. My grandma Kie will forever be cherished and remembered, her legacy of love and resilience living on in our hearts. - Joshua Walker, first born Grandchild.
