Jeannette E. Healy's Obituary
Jeannette Elaine Healy
Jeannette Healy was born in Tacoma on August 11, 1932 to Jess and Gladys Rosier, and passed on September 2, 2011. Jeannette married Bill Healy on May 14, 1960 and in 1967 she and her family moved from Tacoma to Yelm where she lived the rest of her life. Spending most of her working days involved in the grocery business, Jeannette and Bill purchased their own store in Rainier in 1972 and named it B & J Market. Through many years of hard work and careful investments they entered the retirement world in 1984 with enough savings to enjoy many years of traveling throughout the US and the world. Special times included regular trips to Hawaii and annual fishing trips to Curlew. Mom was most happy exploring new places, and making friends where ever she landed. She is survived by daughters Madonna Johnson and Michelle O'Neal, and sons Martin Fortin and Mitchell Healy; grandchildren Greg, Jesse, and Kaci O'Neal; Brady Johnson; Katherine Fortin and four great grandchildren. Mom was predeceased by her parents, brothers Lewis (Jess) and Nathan (Jack) Rosier, and husband of fifty-years William Healy. Mom's last few years of comfort were the result of the special care and attention by her daughters Michelle and Madonna. Services will be held at the Mountain View Garden Chapel on Thursday September 8th at 2:00 PM. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
