Jeanne C. Wight's Obituary
Jeanne C. Wight
Jeanne C. Wight was born November 5, 1951 and passed peacefully away at home with her daughters by her side, on Sunday, May 1, 2011. She lost her six year battle with lung cancer, but never the "fight."
Jeanne's greatest joys in life were her family and friends and the times they spent together, especially family vacations and holidays.
Jeanne leaves two daughters, Shannan Wills (Jason), and Angel Miller (Wayne) and the heart of her life, her granddaughter, Kayla. Jeanne said many times that Kayla is what kept her fighting.
There were special people in her life that gave her great joy also. Those people were Diane Woody, her angel on earth and sister in heart, her other "daughters," Loni Stevenson and Cheryl Rogness and her "nephews" Brandon and Britt Rogness and Curtis Stevenson.
Jeanne had a deep faith in God. She always said with her illness she was in a win/win situation. Her Lord was taking care of her on earth and he will take care of her in His Kingdom. She now has her reward for her faith. She lost her husband, Michael, three years ago and is now reunited with him.
The animals in her life gave her smiles and comfort. We are sure she will be at the Rainbow Bridge waiting for them all.
Jeanne worked for DaVita for ten years. She loved her job and her DaVita family. They gave her strength and comfort.
Jeanne would like to thank all of the staff at Rainier Physicians and special thanks to Dr. Blau for her fight against cancer and wonderful care given to Jeanne.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, May 22nd, at 1:00pm in the Puyallup United Methodist Church located at 1919 W. Pioneer, Puyallup. The family asks that remembrances please be made to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society of Pierce County.
Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
