Jeanie Ann Thimmig's Obituary
Jeanie Ann Thimmig, 54, let her soul be free and took her last breath after 13 hours of holding on, at 10:15 p.m., Feb. 14th, 2017. She passed at St. Joseph hospital in Tacoma, WA surrounded by those that loved her very much.
Jeanie was born April 23rd, 1962 in Queens, NY. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many. She was an angel here on earth. Her smile was one that could light up the darkest of rooms and her laugh was unforgettable. She saw the best in everyone she knew and she always loved everyone unconditionally. She touched so many in her short time here on earth.
She loved her grandchildren with every ounce of love she had her body. She enjoyed going on road trips, doing art and simply enjoying her life as much as she could whenever her body would allow.
She was an incredible cook and she would love to make German food; yes, it was the best. Things will never be the same without her and her leaving us has left a deep void in all of our hearts but we are able to be strong and go on because we know that her pain is over and she is able to rest. She is a beautiful soul that will forever be missed but never forgotten, because even in death, she saw a way to bring us all together on a day of love (Valentine's Day).
She is survived by her husband, Brian Thimmig; three children, Natasha Thimmig, Shawn Thimmig and Felicia Beeks; her two grandchildren, Damiano Harman and Arianna Thimmig; her father, Frank Archer; her step-father Philip Black; two sisters, Linda LaPlante and Denise Lumley; and her nephew Joshua Lumley.
She is preceded in death by her mother Hannalore Vogt-Black and her nephew Jonathan Black.
