Jeanie Shizue Lacoursiere's Obituary
Shizue "Jeanie" Lacoursiere, born February 21, 1932 in Saitama prefecture Japan, passed away peacefully at her home on April 29, 2010. Life-long resident of Spanaway, coming to America from Japan in the early sixties. She is survived by her brother Koji Tomita, his wife and three children in Saitama, Japan. Jeanie is now interred with the love of her life, George Lacoursiere, at Mountain View. She was loved by lots of friends, the neighbors at her home, the members of SGI a buddhist organization she was very active in. She and George loved to travel, whether by plane or RV they saw the world! Jeanie also enjoyed origami, her doggy, singing in the SGI chorus. Her friends will always remember how kindhearted she was and how much she always appreciated the help and support they provided for her in recent years. A memorial service was performed at the SGI Community Center in Lakewood on May 3, 2010.
