Jeanette Tracey Dickerson's Obituary
Jeanette Tracey “Tra-C” Dickerson, 56, of Spanaway, Washington, by way of Media, Pennsylvania died peacefully in her sleep on May 3rd 2019, at Rainier Rehabilitation in Puyallup. Born August 29th 1962 in Chester, PA, she is predeceased by her father, Jacob “Sonny” Lee, sister Susan Lee and survived by her mother Violet Lee of Media, PA. Tracey was an entrepreneurial stylist living in Spanaway, WA with her Daughter, Triana and her grandsons. She served her country in the U.S Army and lived in ownership and operation of Hair has potential styling salon and Me & Mine accessories and supplies, from 1990 onward. She loved her family and friends and often traveled to Media, PA until a few years before her passing. She was and always will be known for being the patriarch of the village it took to raise a child as she has become the surrogate mother of so many, the surrogate sister to even more and the close confidant of every person she touched. Gwen Jackson, Nadia Osborne and Wanda West in her last days you made sure she was lifted on high and we will be forever grateful. Survivors include her three children, Tra (Tinisha T.) Moffitt of Texas, Triana L. Chambers and JaSon Lee of Spanaway, WA. Her granddaughters, Ju’ana Sawyer and La’launa Moffitt of TX, Ka’Reyah Lee, Amahri Martin and Ariyah Johnson of WA; grandsons Xavier Moffitt, Andrez Lee-Alvarez of TX, Ja’Shawn Lee, D.J. Johnson, Chrishawn Hunt of WA; two sisters Jackie Benson of PA and Kathy Lee of WA; five nieces, three nephews, and many beloved grandnieces and grandnephews. Lastly, she is survived by her clients, you were always more than clients to her; you were family “more hair”. Private services will be held May 17th, 1pm-4pm at Mountain View Memorial Park Memorial
