Jean Wilson's Obituary
Born Emajean Frazier on the Santee Reservation in Nebraska on March 7th, 1919, to George Frazier and Emma Scott Frazier, in the midst of the Influenza Pandemic of 1918, and living well past her own centennial. Jean as she was known by all who knew her, lived a long and full life of exception experience. Through such trying and true times as the roaring 20's, the Great Depression, the Dust Bowl, World War II, as well as every other grand event in the second half of the 20th century. Along with all that has taken place in the first two of this century.
With her husband Burnley Wilson she would also go on to travel to every continent minus Antarctica. As well as raise her two children Craig Wilson and Carole Dushane. All of whom proceeded her by many years to the grave. Being 103 and less than a month shy of 104, we'll give her the benefit of the doubt, round up the numbers and say she made it anyway. She leaves behind a large and sorted group of caring friends and family. Including two grandsons Jeff Baylow and Nick DuShane, as well as two great granddaughters Calissa and Ashtyn Baylow.
A service will be held at Fircrest golf course near what would have been her birthday in early March.
