I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Jean. I will remember the many camping trips at Riff Lake, visiting Frank and Jean as comp hosts. Frank and Jean are very close friends to my parents. Camping, fishing, and friends. I will always remember Jean's smile and sweet laugh. Jean will be truly be missed. We all are very blessed to have know her and had her in our lives.
My family was introduced to the Taylor family by our neighbors Joe and Julie Elsholz. We spent many a weekend at Rifle Lake with them as our camp hosts. Jean was so talented! She was a kindred craft spirit sister. She had so many creative ideas and was so sweet to share them. She also was a great resource for me when I would need some knitting advice. I have a beautiful ceramic teapot that she made. I remember warm conversations with Julie and her with a cup of tea in hand. oh the laughter fireside at the lake. She loved her family. I am so sorry for your loss. She was an amazing lady. You were truly blessed.
Dee Dee - I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom. I remember her so well....our moms pinning notes on our sweaters and sending us down the alley to one another's houses. Those were the days! Your mom had an infectious laugh and I used to love coming out to your house for a sleepover on Brookdale Rd, which i thought was so, very far away. LOL
