Dear Tim & Family, This is such a sad way to renew our familial lineage. Jean Knudsen called me to let me know of your Mother's passing. Seems to me WE are now the old guard we once obeyed. Your Mother looks lovely, Tim. She always was lovely & so kind to us all.I do recall how she & my Mother would sneak away to a corner & talk & laugh at us kids. They were only a year apart & my guess that had a lot to do with their 'chats'. My Mother passes in 1998, so I know how you must be feeling. You are the Head of the clan, Tim. One memory I can share now, but I had the largest crush on you! Did you know that? I made sure when we gathered for Birthdays that mom did my hair just so & that I always dressed in my best hoping you'd notice! I have a pic of you right in front of the camera lens being 'muscle man',remember? Tim, your Mother will be missed. Be strong today, she will always be there for you, more than likely by your side. I hope she wasn't ill and that her passing was easy. Be well. My Love & prayers are with you today & in the weeks & months to come. Life will be easier without her with Time. How fortunate for you & all who loved that her that she was with you into her ninties. God Bless all of you.
Have you guessed who this is .........? Much love, Annette Halseth Miller.
We were fortunate to know Jean for the last 6 days of her life. She was so sweet and full of humor. She had a kind attitude and was incredibly patient. We will always cherish her short presence in our lives.

So sorry for your loss.
Met your wonderful Mother several times while visiting family in Puyallup.
She always made me feel very welcome.
Loved seeing her and Aunt Ida in action!!

Cousin Jean has been a part of my life throughout all my life. I am in the same generation as her four sons and I have many memories of going over to her house. She was a warm, vibrant loving person. As I grew older, we continued our friendship as adults. She made me feel special. She used to say, “I’m so blessed.” May she Rest In Peace with Our Lord.
Auntie Jean was my moms best friend. The two of them were real characters and full of spunk. They would always come out to look at my decorated Christmas trees and have a rum and coke. I have so many wonderful memories of Auntie Jean, but cherished her holiday visits with mom. Oh, and of course our weekly trip to the Eagles for a cocktail. She will be missed, but not forgotten.
