Jason Omar Bradley Hickman

Was born in Anchorage, Alaska. He graduated from Dobyns Bennett High School in Kingsport, TN, where he grew up. He joined the Army in April 1999, and was trained to become a combat engineer. He was stationed at Ft. Lewis, Washington; Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Sheboygan, Wisconsin (Recruiting Command); and then was assigned to Fort Richardson, Alaska. He served in the Army for the last 10 years and had completed one tour in Iraq and was currently serving in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) when he left to be with our Lord and Savior. While station at Ft. Lewis he met his wife Tiffany Burke and was married in April 2002. Jason and Tiffany were married for 7 loving years. Jason loved camping, hiking, and fishing, and teaching his 3 boys things about the outdoors. Jason was a family man, he was a wonderful husband, outstanding father, and a loving son.
Jason leaves behind his wife Tiffany, 3 sons, Hayden 6, Landon 5, and Clayton 2. He also leaves behind many family members, including his parents JD and Judy HIckman of Kingsport, Tn, 1 nephew, and 1 niece. He will be greatly missed by all who have known him.
There will be a viewing on Friday, January 29 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Mountain View Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 12:00 P.M. at the Ft. Lewis main post chapel. His final resting place will be at Tahoma National Cemetery, where he will have a continuous view of Mt. Rainer which he loved. A memorial fund will be set up at Wells Fargo for his wife Tiffany and his 3 beloved sons.
