Jason Lee Fowler's Obituary
Jason Lee Fowler, known by most as Jay Fowler, suddenly passed away on the 13th of October. Jay was born on May 24th, 1975 at Madigan General Hospital on Ft Lewis Army Base and lived in the Tacoma area where he spent most of his childhood and adult life. He excelled and loved playing basketball in school and college. Jay served in the Airforce as a Jet Engine Mechanic and deployed immediately after 9/11. He had his two daughters while in the service four years apart. After serving in the Air Force, he went on to work hard as a Longshoreman, in which he took great pride in.
Jay is survived by both daughters Aliciana Swinney (Husband, Owen Swinney) and Gabriella Fowler, his mom Sona Chu, his dad William Fowler Jr and step mom Mary Lynn Fowler. He is also survived by his beloved adopted family, mother YiSoon Kulisek, sister Judy (Husband, Bruce), brother Lee and nephew Jesse.
He was preceded in death by his adopted dad Elmer - who he always kept in such high regard.
He was loved by many colleagues, friends and family. He was a friendly face that lit up the room with his smile, and could make just about anyone laugh with his hilarious jokes.
A celebration of life will be held Oct 29th, to gather together and remember all the best of Jason Fowler.
