I came to know Mrs. Middleton through her daughter, Jean when our husbands were students at JBU. Between changing our respective children's diapers, Jean and I shared many a cup of tea, and a lifelong friendship resulted. Came to know Jardis & Delbert Middleton, and Jean almost 60 years ago, when we started attending Temple Baptist Church. We had many memorable times throughout our junior high and high school years, as Jean and I grew up. We spent many wonderful times together, and continue to enjoy a close friendship with Jean and Bill.
