Janice loved her husband, George, deeply. She was always eager to take care of everyone, extending her kindness to all she met. Her friendly nature made her a beloved figure in her community.
A passionate gardener, Janice found peace and happiness among her plants. She also loved her feline philosopher (cat), Smudge, who was her constant companion. Janice delighted in cooking and serving food to people, especially cooking fried chicken for her dear George. Her culinary skills were a testament to her nurturing spirit.
Janice was the glue that held her family together. She had a knack for finding bargains at garage sales, a hobby that brought her immense joy. As a proud member of the Red Hat Club, she cherished the camaraderie and fun it brought into her life.
Despite her ailments, Janice never let them hinder her from helping others. Her resilience and dedication were truly inspiring. She would talk to anyone who listened, and never shied away from a conversation with a stranger, a friend, a loved one.
She is survived by her three daughters, Brenda, Beverly, and Barbra, who were the light of her life. Janice also loved her three sons-in-law as her own flesh and blood, creating a close-knit and loving family.
Janice Nelson’s legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
