Janice Barabe
Born April 6, 1940; passed away peacefully at UWMC January 14, 2009, surrounded by her family. Janice is survived by her mother Henrietta Faulk, husband Tom, children Julie (Dave), Toni (Doug), Paul and Janie. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 3-1/2 great-grandchildren, and her favorite aunt and uncle, Selma and Rod Larson. Jan is also loved by numerous relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her father Bert and sister Joanne. Six years ago Jan was a recipient of a lung transplant, after which she spent countless hours volunteering at Allenmore Pulmonary, helping other transplant patients. The family would like to thank UWMC doctors and nurses for her excellent care, which allowed her to survive longer than expected. Funeral will be held Monday, Jan. 19, 2009 at 11:00am in the Mountain View Valley Chapel. Burial and reception will immediately follow.
