Janice Cheryl Lee's Obituary
Janice Cheryl Lee, born in Colorado Spring, Colorado, July 9, 1956, passed away January 25, 2004 after a valiant three-year battle with cancer. A 1974 graduate of Lakes High School, she received a Bachelor's Degree from Hardin Simmons University in Texas. At the time of her death, she was Deputy Regional Administrator, Aging and Adult Services, DSHS Region 4. Her mother, Rosie Lee, predeceased her. She is survived by her son Anthony Rashad Lee; grandson Damari Watkins Lee, both of Lakewood, WA; father, Willie Lee of Montalba, TX; sisters, Linda Lee of Asuncion, Paraguay and Karen Lee of Lakewood; and nephew Kevin Lee Washington of Lakewood.Services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2004 at 2:00pm in the Mountain View Celebration of Life Building. Viewing will be noon to 9pm, Friday, January 30, at Mt. View Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in JaniceÂ's memory be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
