Janette Axt Lightfoot Smith

Janette, along with her twin Joanne, was born on September 10, 1951 in Frankfurt, Germany, to SFC John Axt and Emily Pearl (Jenkins) Axt. Janette married Brian Smith in 1991, and soon after, her second son Josh made an arrival. Janette loved her family greatly, going up into the mountains with Brian looking for rocks, gardening and making everything grow, watching TV, and finding and giving the best gifts to her grandkids and numerous nieces and nephews.
Janette is survived by her sons Josh Smith and Michael Lightfoot, and grandsons Zach, Jake, and Tyler. She is predeceased by her parents John and Pearl Axt and husband Brian Smith. Also surviving are siblings Joanne (Bruce) MacKintosh, Rick (Loretta) Axt, and Robert (Karen) Axt and nieces Dani, Erin, and Desi and nephews Cullen and Darren.
She is gone too soon. The family asks that any remembrances be sent to the Mountain View Funeral Home.
