Janet Ann Talbert
Janet Ann "Jan" was born November 26, 1941 and died peacefully on April 10, 2009. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1960 and later received her nursing degree as an LPN; she loved her work and caring for others was her passion. She married her high school sweetheart, Gary, on May 3, 1963. She loved her church, singing, camping, sewing, and most of all being with family. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Gary, Step-Father, Gail Price, three daughters, Heidi Rinker (Duane), Alyse Russell (Paul) and Dayna Hersey (Stuart), grandchildren, Haley, Deven, Joey, Zachary, Lindsay and Ryan, Ryan and Danielle Rinker and one great granddaughter, Sophia. She is also survived by several nephews and a niece. She is preceded in death by her father, Rev. Earnest Durham, mother, Wilma Price, and her brother, Harold Durham. She will be honored at a memorial service at Tacoma First Church of God, 9401 "A" Street, Tacoma, on Friday, April 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to her church in her name.
