JANET M. JELVIKJanet Jelvik, Born Feb. 14, 1937 in Tacoma, WA, to Rodney E. and Jane (Wise) Kendall, passed away Aug. 27, 2003, in Tacoma. Preceded in death by husband, Alvin G., in 1987. Janet is survived by Three children, Debbie (Glenn Halmossy) Baltazar, Jon (Linda) Jelvik and VaLoy (Todd) Briscoe, Grandchildren Rich Baltazar, Serena (Duane) Jones, Corey Jelvik, Ryan Jelvik, Amanda Briscoe, JoAnn Briscoe and Great-granddaughter Taylor Jones. She was a long-time-member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Tacoma and the Tacoma WomenÂ'sÂ' Bowling Association. She was recently inducted into the TWBA Hall of Fame. Janet retired from Item House as a payroll clerk / receptionist in 2000, after 10 years of employment there. Visitation at Mountain View Funeral Home, Mon. Sep. 1, 12 - 9:PM, and Tues. Sep. 2, 9:AM - 12:30 PM. Funeral Services to be held at Mountain View Funeral HomeÂ's Garden Chapel Tues., Sep. 2, 2003 at 2:PM.
