Jana Georgina Borland

I just found out about Jana's passing. I am so very sad to hear that she is gone, and gone much too soon. Jana was my best friend in high school and my college room mate. We had lost contact over the last few years but, I had always hoped and prayed that someday we would be close again. I will miss her. I know that she had many health problems toward the end of her life but, I will always remember her as the beautiful, kindhearted, loving and loyal friend that she was. She was bright, generous and enthusiastic full of energy. Through the many years that we were close Jana truly was a wonderful friend, someone who would give of herself to those who she loved. I got the pleasure of meeting Jana through my Sister Cathy. Since I am Cathy's little sister, Jana also became my sister and friend too. Jana, I will never forget one of your many SUPER POWERS...HUMOUR...Thank You for turning those moments that we were able to share together, into insatiable Laughter & Joy! You left a sweet impression on my life as well....A very loving, caring, warmhearted, go getter! That's how you will be remembered by me!!

Jana, I am so happy to tell you how much your son Tyler means to me. He misses you a great deal. He takes after his dad. I know that you were in a great deal of pain and I am happy that you are not in pain anymore. I just want to thank you for having Tyler, he has been a joy, and a handful at times, but he does love you. Your pictures will always remain around our home. I hope that you would be happy about how I have helped raise your son. He is quite the ladies man with a great sense of humor. He is a hard worker and takes care of his three young sisters nicely. Jana, Cathy, Birda, and I were put together as roommates at college. Her and I became friends and roomed together off and on for several years. We stayed in contact through occasional phone calls and visits. I remember Jana as charming and having a wonderful sense of humor. Being with her was never dull. She was outgoing and lively. I just recently found out about Jana’s death, which saddens me. I first met Jana in 1978 as my college roommate. Jana was a very caring person, willing to help out anyone in need. She was a true friend. I lost contact with her several years ago and I was always hoping our paths would cross again, but it wasn’t meant to be. I feel her death has left an emptiness in my heart and I will miss her. My sympathy goes out to her family, especially her son Tyler.
