So saddened by the passing of my almost lifetime friend Jim White. My first meeting with Jim was in grade school. Jim was a small, but very fast guy back then going under the name Jim Durham. We met again in our sophomore year of High School where his name had been changed to Jim White, and we have been friends ever since.
Jim will always be remembered as a happy, energetic outgoing guy. He called all good friends “Bunky at WSHS. He was always organizing get together events like beach parties in HS to lunches, golf matches and golf tournaments later. While there are plenty of stories to tell about Jim, I believe that the golfing and lunch gathering of childhood friends and our spouses that Jim organized every year were some of the most memorable times- it included Jim, Diana, The Perry’s (Both Passed last year), the Maybay’s and the Norman’s. We all had a wonderful time at these gatherings.
