Dad, it's your birthday & the second one with out you here. I miss you so very much. I used to spend every birthday with you & it's just not the same any more. I hope that you are in a better place. Jim (dad), I am so glad I got to know you. I so.. many times wanted to call you dad but never did, I guess it's a man thing. I just want to let you know, dad you are a part of me & I will never forget you. I know you are waiting for me up there with a chess board, so you can beat me like alway's. I don't know if god allow's a snort in heaven, but if he does, we will have one or maybe two. So dad, save that RV spot up there. Maybe this time I can win a chess game. I just want to let you know I never met a man who fought to go on with life like you did. I know you fought for your country as well as you did for yourself. I know you didn't want to go & leave us all here, but God has his plan. We will all see you ASAP.
