James Robert Myres' Obituary
James R. Myres, Sr.
Born April 17, 1927 in Mobile, Alabama; passed away on June 2, 2009. He proudly served as a Merchant Seaman in WWII and 23 years active duty Army. He then enjoyed a second career in retail sales. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen, daughters Melody (Jan) Derwojed, Mary (James) Couch, son James, Jr., and grandchildren Jennifer, Nicholas, Jacob, Michael, Anthony, and Jonathan, sister Louise and brother Lloyd. He will be remembered as a loving, caring, gentle man. He will be deeply missed. At his request no services planned. However a visitation will be held 12-9 p.m., Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Mountain View Funeral Home in Lakewood, WA. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Salvation Army or a charity of your choice.
