James Peden's Obituary
On Saturday, the 9th of November, 2019, James Forrest Peden, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away at the age of 74 due to complications with his heart. James was born on September 30, 1945 in Harrison, Arkansas to Forrest Monroe Peden and Ruby Lee Worthington. James enlisted in the United States Army in 1961 at the age of 16 and went on to serve 22 years in the Army. He fought in Vietnam and Korea and met his wife, Hoa, while serving in Vietnam. James had 5 brothers, Earnest, Walter (Jake), Miles, Robert, and Larry and 4 sisters, Wanda, Ruby Fae, Henrietta, and Caroline (Kay). James and Hoa had 4 children together. Their oldest son Minh (Michael), has two boys, Michael and David and one girl Jasminh. Their daughter Nguyet (Sueann), has one daughter Justina and one son Justin. Their middle son Quang (Dave), has two girls Krystal and Kayla and two sons Daniel and Brandon. Their youngest son, John has two girls, Lilliana and Sueann. James is also survived by 4 great grandchildren. His grandson David has three girls, Alexis, Ariana and Alison. His grandson Daniel has a son named Jayce. James enjoyed fishing and hunting with his sons and grandchildren. He also enjoyed watching old western movies and reading western books as well as watching crime tv shows.
