James Midgette's Obituary
Our dad, James Levi Midgette, died peacefully in his sleep at the age of 84 in his daughter Barb's (Jim) home which he shared with his wife. He is survived by Ruth his loving wife of 63 years, his children Marlys, Barb, Mary, Jim and Rick, 12 grand-children and 7 great-grand children. Dad was born in Durham, N.C. where he and his 9 siblings worked on the family farm as tobacco share croppers. Dads love for airplanes led him to 30 year career as a jet engine mechanic with the civil service at McChord Air Force Base. After retirement mom and dad enjoyed traveling, gardening, bird-watching and anything that allowed them to spend time together. We would like to thank Lila, dads respite caregiver for her loving care for dad. A job well done dad, thank-you for the wonderful years we got to spend with you. You will always be remem-bered as an honorable man. No more pain and suffering, no more vertigo and neuropathy, you are now in the arms of Jesus. Memorial luncheon at 11am on Monday, Oct. 29th at Berean Baptist Church 9702 128th St.E. Puyallup, WA 98373.
