James (Jimmie) M. Manza's Obituary
The evening of October 26, 2014 Jimmie left this world to enter God's Kingdom where he was greeted by his parents, Mike V. and Dorothy S. Manza and brother-in-law Lewis W. Drury who preceded him in death. He died peacefully at home with his sister at his side.
Jimmie was born in Tacoma, WA. on June 2, 1952, where he lived with his parents. They moved to Littlerock, WA in 1974 where Jimmie helped his Dad with yard work, feeding the cows and stacking firewood.
Jimmie captured the hearts of everyone he met with his very infectious smile and big "Hi". No matter if you were having a bad day or were sad, the smile he would give you would always change your mood. His favorite things to do were going for a car ride, going out to eat, going on vacations, working with his lite-brite pictures, working puzzles, collecting Elmo's and coloring pictures. Jimmie loved having company and couldn't wait to show them the latest project he had finished. For being a special needs person, he tried to give to others more reasons to appreicate his efforts. He loved the praise he got from everyone for doing such good jpb and that encouraged him to work even harder.
He was deeply loved and cared for by his sister Marilyn Drury of the home, and will be greatly missed. He was also survived by a uncle, aunts and cousins.
His sister extends a special Thank You to Dr. Kendra Simt, Dr. Jerome Zechmann and Providence Sound Hospice for all their efforts.
In lieu of flowers, please send your donation in his memory to Providence Sound Hospice Fund, Home Health Care 3432 South Bay Road NE, Olympia, WA 98506. to help others.
The service will be held Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 2:00pm at Mountain View Garden Chapel, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood, WA.
