James L. GipsonSSgt. US Army Ret.Born on August 27, 1940 in Greenville, AL, he left his loved ones on October 3, 2006 in Tacoma, WA.He retired from the US Army after serving 20 years. His love of airplanes and computers brought him to the Boeing Co., from which he retired after 23 years.Â"Di TeeÂ" as he is lovingly known, is now with his parents, Liza and Hill Gipson Sr., and brothers Hill Jr., and Comer Lee. He is survived by his devoted wife of 35 years, Song, daughter Cynthia, son James Jr., granddaughter Tianna, sister Lucille, and brother Willie George.Viewing will be held from 1 - 9 PM on Friday, October 6, 2006 at Mountain View Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 07, 2006 in the Mountain View Valley Chapel.
