So many memories. A great friend, colleague and adventure buddy. A fine and complex man with many passions and a big heart. Sail on, my friend. I was the original keyboard player in Jim's first band " The Harbinger Complex". And remember Jim as a very talented leader of the band. He was the lead singer and driving force behind the Harbinger Complex unique musical style. As I recall Jim led the band this a serious note at all times. He knew the sound he was going for and directed us accordingly. He could be testy at times but musically speaking he had that right groove for what he wanted to aspire too. I was a youngster and looked up to Jims direction. Over the years we all went our separate ways with Jim getting his PHD . A very smart guy. We stayed in touch and his adventures were always a highlight to see and hear about. He will be missed . The good Lord called up a great guy and wherever Jim is his music will always live on . RiP Jim....
