James H. Hartley, born in Tacoma, WA on January 16, 1936 to Mildred and Henry Hartley; passed away on August 20, 2008. James loved fishing and flying. He was a private pilot and worked at Pacific Propeller for 21 years. James served in the Army for 2 years. James is survived by his wife Sharon of 50 years, daughters Gail Hartley, Chris Hartley, and Lori Lawrence, son-in-law Phil Lawrence, 5 grandchildren Zachary, Jeremy, Henry, Philip, and Paige, and 1 great-grandchild, Lily, brothers Jerry, Richard, Lee and Marshall Hartley, and sister Kathy Weintraub. Services will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008 in the Mountain View Aspen Chapel, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. Lakewood, WA 98499.
