James H. Tresch's Obituary
Jim peacefully passed away at home on May 10, 2010 at the age of 84. He will be greatly missed by leaving fond memories to his many friends, especially to his loving friend of 25 yrs. Iryne Johnson, daughter Pamela Gennow (Steve), son Michael (Junecko), 2 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Preceded by his parents, and also by his 2 brothers.
After attending the Air Force College he became a fighter pilot in WWII. Joining the M.O.C.A. in 1985 he became the State Commander in 1995 and was their National Bugler. He also received the National Cootie of the Year award with many hours of volunteer work for the veterans. His hobby was his love of music, playing his trumpet with several bands. He was a member of Post VFW 91 - ELKS & AMVETS.
Memorial service in the Garden Chapel at Mt. View at 1:00 pm, Sat., May 15 followed by a reception in the Celebration of Life Center.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Leo's Church-Emergency Fund or Franciscan Hospice House.
