James (Jim) Guien
James Guien was born January 4, 1932 and went home to the lord on September 27, 2014 in his home in Tacoma, Washington. Jim was a Sergeant First Class in both the Korean and Vietnam War. Not only was he a proud veteran he was truck driver for Overall Laundry Service which during that time he became a teamster. He was a Past Master for Cassia #5 Lodge; Jim also was the president of the Caballeros Club during the period of January 1994 to December 1994. Jim also was part of Gentle of GQ who gave great fashions shows at the Caballeros Club. Jim was very known to be a very fashionable dresser and always shape from head to toe. Jim always had this stride about him which he got the nickname “Dap Daddy” from his step-daughter Daina.
Jim was preceded in death by his mother Ollie Dixon; son James Guien Jr., daughter Debbie Guien and sister Margie Reese. He is survived by his beloved wife Ruth Ann Guien. Children: Larry (Sandy) Guien; Marvin (Tammy) Guien; Step-son Deric Williams and step-daughter Daina Hicks. Grandchildren: Calvin (Tiana) Guien; Brandon Guien; Jamie Guien. Step grandkids: Antoine Harrell; Asia Harrell; Anesia Smith; and Corasia Smith and a host of great-grandkids, nieces and nephews.
