James L. Gates, 89, of Steilacoom, passed away of natural causes on Oct. 30, 2015.
Born in Dayton, Oregon on Feb 11, 1926 to Phil and Maude Gates.
Jim was a dump truck driver who owned Jim Gates Trucking for many years.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Vicki (Steve), son Greg (Tamera). He is also survived by his brother Gary.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday Nov.21 at 1 P.M. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church - 10333 Bridgeport Way SW in Lakewood.
