My Grandfather was the most clean-cut man I knew. He was always dressed nice and smelt good. Taught me the value of a dollar and was quiet for the most part. I miss him and pray for his soul to rest. Lakisha Moody

With lots of love to the family...
My dad was in the military with James, Ed Ross, they were good friends and my dad helped with his gas station when he first bought it. It was called Time I believe. I spent many days there with my dad helping out as a young kid. My dad gave Garraway our German Sheppard named Skipper when he bought the wrecking yard in Spanaway.

Cousin Clarence was an inspiration to us all with his smile, laughter and lively nature. He and I shared a love of cowboy boots and I always enjoyed seeing his collection. Cousin Clarence was always looking sharp. He said once, "All we can do now is get dressed up and look back". We will always be grateful for his visit to Chicago to surprise our Dad (Albert Hollimon) for his 80th birthday. Our Dad always enjoyed talking to Cousin Clarence every weekend about old times. We kept in touch with Cousin Clarence until he became too ill to talk on the phone. He would always tell me, "Kim, if you were a racehorse, I would bet on you every time". We will miss him dearly and we pray for peace and comfort for the family. Love Kimberly Hollimon-Ogletree and the Hollimon Family.
On behalf of my husband David (Hburg,MS), grandson of Mr James C Garraway, I extend my deepest condolences and prayers to the rest of the Garraway family in Washington. We are deeply saddened to hear of his passing and will cherish times that our family was able to speak with him over the phone. Our three children will continue to carry on the Garraway name with great pride and dignity. May God forever bless and keep you all.
