Dear Mrs. Lewis,
Dear Nicholas,
I work for the city, at the Police Garage. That's where I met Jim. He brought his Jeep to us for repairs, and through our common love of motorcycles and riding, we became friends.
His outgoing personality, positive attitude, and ever-present smile made him easy to like. His passion for riding gave us common ground. We shared stories of roads ridden, places visited, and adventures experienced along the way
numerous times.
I was introduced to Nicholas, by Jim, at Ops., very recently (on their way to court!). His love and pride in you, Nicholas, was a joy to behold, and a testament to his dedication to you and your family.
Mrs. Lewis, my heart aches for you, to have lost someone so good and dear.
Please extend my deepest sympathy to the rest of Jim's family.
I know that Jim busted his butt
to be a Motorcycle Cop. He loved his job!
I'm so glad to have known such a positive, decent person. Thank-you for giving us, the citizens, Jim.
With much gratitude and love,
Kris##imported-begin##Kristin Nebiker##imported-end##

Toi and Nicholas, I remember giving Jim a car flag in exchange for you and he buying me lunch the last time we got together to look for homes last year....I was shocked and saddened more than you can know. I had talked to Jim about a month before his death when he told me to look for land to build on, and he said he'd moved to motorcycles. I have had you both in my thoughts and prayers ever since I heard the horrible news.- I will come and visit you in a little while, Toi. Jim was a GOOD man - I know you will miss him terribly. (your dog too!)
Love,
