James Michael Foss, M.D. died July13, 2021 after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He is survived by his wife, Sue Ellen, son Tory(Giovanna) of Lakewood, daughter Marida Davis(Chris) of Olympia, brother Stephen(Rosalia) of P Read Obituary
Loved Dr. Foss like a family member, He was and is the best Doctor ever over my 62 years he took great care of me and my wife. So sorry for your loss and am sending prayers out to all family members.
Jim and my husband Harland were very close. Harland was his Boy Scout Leader for years, while at the old Central. Harland cherished a lovely Pen Set for his Desk which said: "To Doc Peterson....the Best Father 8 Boys Ever Had" Harland took them bowling. One weekend they all camped outside on the new church property....Jim was one of "his boys" and they were very close.
Jim stayed close to me at Harland's Memorial, even though he didn't have a part in the service...I'll never forget that when everyone left he walked me out to my car in the dark and helped me in the driver's seat, knowing it would be hard to go home to a dark, empty house. I will never forget Jim's MANY kindnesses - what a wonderful friend to so many of us. I've been praying so much for Sue Ellen - what a special gift to Jim. I'm getting more friends in heaven than on earth - how about you?

I am recalling all those wonderful time that the 4 of us spent at our place at Crystal River Ranch. We always had to stop at the Dairy Queen for our traditional “frosty”. I remember the fall and winter sitting around the fire pit and you trying your latest fire starter. The walks that you and I would take and discussing everything from God, family, sports and the world in general. I remember watching movies at night and any sports event that was on while Mary Jo and Sue Ellen did jigsaw puzzles.
I miss our times together but most of all I miss you
