James Dellinger's Obituary
James Derhyl (Doug) Dellinger of Tacoma, WA, passed away October 16, 2011. He retired from the Air Force after serving in several countries and the U.S. He was born May 23, 1939 in Plumtree, NC to the late Thomas Jefferson (Jeff) Dellinger and the late Revonda Arizona Dellinger. He was preceded in death by his brother Hunter Bruce Dellinger.
He is survived by his wife, Anne-Marie Christiane Marcelle Dellinger, two children; Jeffrey (Jeff) Roger Dellinger and wife Linda of Fox Island, WA and Jacqueline (Jackie) Marie Castle of Hampton, VA ; six grandchildren: Michelle, Marisa, Megan, Tia, Jack and Holly; and one great granddaughter: Kaily.
He is also survived by his brothers Lawrence (Toby) Buchanan of Easton, WA, Thomas (Tommy) McDonald and wife Sally Dellinger of Rockport, WA, and Richard Michael (Mike) and wife Sonja Dellinger of Rockport, WA; and sisters Darlene Grace Nieshe of Birdsview, WA; Ellen Gay LaFayette of Wales, WI and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cremation will follow viewing. A memorial service is scheduled on Friday at 1:00 PM, October 21, 2011 at Rockport Baptist (Christ the King) Church on 11982 Martin Road, Rockport, WA. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
