James Malone Davis
Jim passed away peacefully at his home in Lakewood on March 20th, surrounded by family who appreciated, loved, and will miss him the most. Jim lived a good, full life of almost 86 years (and it seemed like he had a story to share about each of them!). Jim was born April 1st, 2010, in Georgia. Jim served his country in World War II and retired from the military after 30 years. Afterward going on to a civil service career. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Jan, sons Erick, Alan (Leah, Nathan), Ralph, Jay (Jayson, Kyle) Tony, and daughter Tonya (Shaun), and relatives in Georgia. Jim's last years of life were filled with joyful memories created by his youngest grandchildren Kameron, Quentin, and Braelyn. Jim's stories, smile, generosity, and life lessons will live in our hearts forever. Thank you for giving us your love, Jim. God keep you until we see you again. Service and graveside service will be held at Mountainview on Thursday March 25 @ 1:00. Reception to follow at Burs.
