James D. Watson's Obituary
James Watson passed away October 17, 2002 in Tacoma, WA. He was born September 16, 1923 in Centralia, WA. and moved to Tacoma when he was five years old. James graduated from Stadium High School in 1941 and served in the U.S. Navy as a combat air crewman during WWII. He worked as a Railroad Engineer and retired from Burlington Northern in 1983. Forty eight years ago James married his true love, Alice, on August 27, 1954. James was a member of the Shriners, Elks, Masons, and Emmanuel Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife Alice, son Ron, brother Richard, and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice. Services will be on Monday, October 21 at 2:00 P.M. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 1315 North Stevens, Tacoma.
