James Crowley's Obituary
James Louis Crowley of Tacoma died peacefully in his sleep on November 4. Born in Spokane, Washington February 8, 1923, James was well-known for Jimmie's House of Beauty in the historic Stadium District, where he enhanced his clients' beauty for 50 years. A longtime member of Hair America, the elite section of the National Cosmetology Association, James traveled extensively, giving master classes and seminars in his trademark "Air Waving". James will be remembered for his artistic flair, his positive outlook on life, his kindness and warmth, and the many friends he encouraged over the years. James was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Ann, and is survived by daughters Cassandra Crowley and Carla Crowley Earl, son-in-law Michael, granddaughter Geneva, and his brother Daniel.
