James Burrell's Obituary
James Howard Burrell
Born in the small town of Demopolis Alabama he started his life in a small farming community. At a young age James and his mother moved to Detroit Michigan, a complex big city. James managed to complete his high school education in the Detroit and eventually join the United States Army. James married Barbara Davis and had two son’s James and Robert that eventually led to four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. His love of family, golf, bowling, and home theatre surround sound systems facilitated his life style. During his first combat deployment to Vietnam James was severely wounded and almost lost his life. Fortunately he managed to live seventy seven years before an aggressive form of cancer led to his final battle as an old soldier who faced death on many occasions and refused to die until he could no longer fight.
James is survived by his wife Barbara Burrell, son’s James and Robert, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and his ninety three year old Mother, Josie Coburn.
