Jennifer, I am so sorry for you lose and I often think of you and the girls!! James always made me laugh! He would come over and I would say, "Hey, Jason told me you did "this or that", usually wasn't true but then he would say did Jason tell he did "whatever"!!! I told him I was just joking and he would say he wasn't!! He was a good guy and I am sure you greatly feel the lose. my love and thoughts and prayers to you and the family Karen Caleffie
James was a very good friend of mine, one of about 3 people I knew I could count on. We did not see each other of years and when I would catch up to him in Texas we would sit outside and talk like we never missed a day. I was always hoping to make it up to Washington to visit or hoping he could make it to a Chiefs game down here in Denver with me. It just didn't work out for us. There will be an empty seat next to me at the Chiefs game this year hopefully James will join me in spirit. James was a damn good man and a better friend who truly loved his family and was very proud of them all. I'll truly miss him. Rest in Peace my friend, we will catch up again....
My love for all things horror comes from my dad. He used to pretend to be a zombie and chase us around the house. I guess because of that you could also attribute me being an adrenaline junkie to him. I also get my imagination from him. He would ask for bedtime stories and the ones in the books weren’t good enough. So we would have to make up an adventurous story to tell him to help him sleep. Mine probably featured wolves, princesses, monsters or all three.
This is one of the only pictures I have of us together. It’s from my high school graduation. I remember being so excited that my heels brought me up to his chin.
James was my son-in-law for over 30 years. We didn't always see eye to eye but I think deep down we loved each other, but most of all we both, loved the same four lady's that was in our life . Jennifer, Victoria, Alanna, and Nicole.
One Thanksgiving, not sure when but I know they didn't live close, James says, Jen I love your mothers fruit salad. So she made it, then James said, this doesn't taste like your mother's. So she called and said, and I ask her what she had done and starting naming the ingredients to her. When I named sugar, she said, you have to put sugar in it. So when they lived close I always made the fruit salad.
I hope you are at peace, sorry it had to be this way. Thank you for my beautiful girls.

Girls hold tight to the love your dad gave you and to the lessons he taught you. Jennifer I am proud of your survival, you are the first to help others and show more love than any person I know. I am so sorry for the pain James death has caused.
