Jaime F. Vivar's Obituary
Jaime F. Vivar, devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend was born in Bagiuo City, Philippines on December 28, 1945 and passed away at the age of 65, peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on June 21, 2011.
Jaime and his wife moved from the Philippines to Tacoma, WA in 1974 were he started his career with the Tacoma Public Utilities and happily retired in 2008.
He is preceded in life by his father, Fernando and brother, Danny Vivar. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Marie, daughter Joy, son-in-law, Michael, son, Jon, daughter-in-law, Martha, mother, Purificacion, brothers; Arthur, Raul, Bow and Loy, sisters, Virgie and Eva, grandchildren, Jeffrey, Sydney & Katelyn Beeks.
Jaime loved his family and had a big heart for helping people find their way; he believed that everyone deserved a second chance. He touched many lives with his generosity and willingness to help whomever and however he can. Jaime loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Viewings will be held on Saturday, June 25th -" Monday, June 27th from 1:00pm -" 9:00pm at Mountain View Funeral Home, a Rosary will be said daily at 7:00pm. Services will be held at Sacred Heart Parrish at 10:00 am (9:30am -" Rosary) on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 -" followed by a precession to Mountain View for a graveside service and a reception at the Celebration of Life Chapel.
