Jacqueline "Jackie" A. York's Obituary
Jacqueline “Jackie” A. York, died on February 22, 2019, in Olympia. She was born in Tacoma on October 19, 1933, the daughter of Daniel and Frances Eckroth. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and professional.
After leaving Lincoln High School, Jackie worked her way up from the bottom into an executive position in the banking industry in a time when gender inequality worked against working mothers. In retirement, Jackie enjoyed world travel, especially with her family.
She is survived by her sister, Lowauna Manners; children, Bill and Dana; grandchildren, Josh and Jamie; and great-granddaughter Kennedy.
Jackie will be laid to rest at Mountain View Memorial Park in Lakewood, WA.
