Jacqueline A. Beals' Obituary
Jacqueline “Jackie” A. Beals, 79, passed away at 1:30 am, Sunday morning December 29, 2013 in Dupont, WA. She was born the only child of Ray E. and Alice L. (Travis) Batte on October 8, 1934 in San Diego, CA.
Jackie worked as a bookkeeper for a Naval Base in North Island, CA and later for Maddox Roofing Company in Tacoma for many years.
She was a member of the Black powder (Mountain Man), Paul Bunyan Rifle club, and Renaissance Organization. In her lifetime, she donated over 16 gallons of blood. As a military wife, she raised five children mostly by herself. Jackie was a great cook and caregiver to her family.
She is survived by her loving husband Jim Sr.; daughter Rae (David) Ezzell; sons Robert (Cindy), Donald and Richard (Monica) Beals; grandkids Ryan, Tony Jeff, Megan, Dane, Jonathan, Brandon, Shaun, Kathy and Micah; great-grandkids Ashley, Owen, Tristan, Kiely, Lola, David, Destiny, Rose, Desiree and Haley.. Jackie was preceded in death by her sons Michael Wade and Jim Jr.
The family would like to thank Dr Konicek, the doctors and staff at Madigan Army Hospital and Dr. Singh and his staff at Harborview for all their care over the years. The Franciscan Hospice for all your support over the last few weeks.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Sunday, January 5 at Mountain View Funeral Home Garden Chapel.
