Jacqueline Ann Bankus
Jacqueline passed away on 16 July 2015 and is now with our Heavenly Father and is at peace.
She was born in 1931 in Minnesota and raised in Harlow, North Dakota on a large farm. Her parents, Lewis and Marie Fugle had six children where Jacqueline was the eldest. Her siblings were Betty (Delmar) Engel, Gary (Dixie) Fugle, Shirley (Bill) Mahan, Terry (Pat) Henderson, and Donald (Kaye) Henderson.
Jacqueline met Edward Bankus (deceased) in Devils Lake, ND and were married in 1951. Edward was in the US Army and they were stationed in Arizona, Germany, Texas, Maryland and Washington State where they settled after retirement from the Army. Jacqueline worked as a Medical Secretary and retired from Civil Service after a 30 year career in 1991 from Madigan Hospital, Ft. Lewis, WA.
Jacqueline is survived by her two sons who are married, Dan & Debbie Bankus and Larry & Donna Bankus; her grandson and his wife, Nick & Magan Bankus; and her two great-grandchildren, Trent & Madalyn Bankus.
A special thankyou to the healthcare professionals at Brookdale Assisted Care Facility in Puyallup and the Doctors and Nurses at the Good Samaritan Hospital for providing assistance and care for Jacqueline.
She will be laid to rest at Mountain View Memorial Park in Lakewood, WA. Jacqueline will be missed by all of us who knew and loved her.
