Jacob Richard Simmons' Obituary
At the young age of 10, our beloved son Jacob Richard Simmons of Dupont WA. Was suddenly called home to the Lord on March 13th, 2018 from Seattle Children's Hospital in Seattle, WA. after his second battle with cancer.
Jacob was born April 4th 2007 at Wilford Hall Medical Center (Lackland AFB) San Antonio, TX. to Jeffrey Bernard Simmons and Nicole Renee' Simmons.
Family and Friends are welcome to attend viewing and visitation at Mountain View Friday March 23rd 2018, From 4pm-8pm at 4100 Steilacoom Blvd Lakewood, WA 98499.
Jacob's funeral service will be held Saturday March 24th at Lewis Main Post Chapel. Service will begin at 1pm. 9th Division RD JBLM, WA 98433
Chaplain Khallid Shabazz will be officiating.
Memorial donations can be made to the Rachel Lynn Henley Foundation to support local cancer research organizations and to provide support to kids and young adults living with cancer. Donations can be made at www.rlhf.org or checks can be mailed to the foundation c/o Mary Henley, 3323 North 18th, Tacoma, WA 98406."
They will absolutely keep track of all donations made in Jacob's honor. The RLH Foundation granted Jacob his "Make a Wish" after beating cancer in 2016.
